Story
Delia Balmer, a nurse at the agency, met Sweeney, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend. Ballmer rebuilt her life to confront Sweeney seven years later after he was arrested for the second murder.

Bodies were dumped in canals in Rotterdam (not Amsterdam) and London.. This excellent drama is based on the true, horrifying story of Delia Ballmer.
Instead, we have Delia, who, frankly, is not a particularly nice lady
Unlike many of these real-life dramas, there is no embellishment of events or characters, or some dynamic hero who steps in to save the day. She can be sharp, rude, quick to snap and hurl insults — and that’s before she meets John Sweeney.
She was simply WOW
However, Delia’s ordeal is so unbelievably tragic that I have been brought to tears many times and filled with anger and disgust at the attitude of the police and judicial system. Anna Maxwell Martin deserves an award for her brilliant performance.
This program is not for the faint of heart, but it is worth watching
I sincerely hope that the police and the judicial system have learned their lessons and that the victims will not be treated like liars and criminals.
