Department of Mechanical Engineering

The department was established in the year of 2009 with the present intake of 60 students with an objective to produce quality engineers and ensures continuous and qualitative progress.

The department faculty consists of well-qualified and experienced professionals having a proven track record in academic, industrial and research field. The faculty is well prepared to train competent professionals in the field of Mechanical Engineering to meet requirements of industry and higher engineering studies. The department has fully equipped Fluid Power, Power Engineering, Thermal engineering, Theory of Machines, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Automobile Engineering laboratories and Auto CAD Lab. Mechanical Engineering department conducts workshop on different subjects like repair & maintenance of Automobile and Refrigeration system in order to get industrial exposure to students. It has all the workshop facilities needed to carry out the fabrication and machining required to students; both for experiment and project work. The laboratory and application courses provide opportunity for development of student’s creativity.

The Faculty also provides invited expert lectures and act as resource persons at various such programs conducted by other institutions. The department conducts seminars and workshops on a regular basis under the auspices of the Mechanical Engineering Association utilizing the services of experts and engineering professionals.

Department of Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is a Professional Engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physically and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil Engineering is the oldest Engineering Discipline after Military Engineering. It is traditionally broken into different disciplines including Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Geo-technical Engineering, Material Engineering, Survey Engineering and Construction Engineering. Civil Engineering takes place at all levels in the public sector and private sector.

Electrical Engineering is a versatile and an ever-green branch of Engineering. An Electrical Engineer can work in various specialised areas like Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Power Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Switch-gear & Automation Engineering, Panel Design Engineering, Dynamic Systems and Controls, Energy Management Systems, and most importantly in software field also. Its dedicated staff is constantly updating their knowledge with various seminars & workshops and imparting their knowledge amongst the students. The students are also encouraged to convert their theoretical knowledge to practical implementation. The department has high-end software’s like MATLAB/Simulink Modeling. The department has laboratories well equipped with modern equipments.

The department has fully equipped with Programming, Network/Internet, Microprocessor, Software Testing, Multimedia, Hardware laboratories and one Computer center providing 24×7 Internet facilities
